Mix red, blue and yellow paint to get brown. The world would be boring in black and white and that is why we have colors to make it more interesting. ![]() Mixing blue and purple colors together creates blue-violet color. Red is also a part of the color wheel as a primary and secondary color. So mixing red and white together to make pink, makes it a tint. A tint is when you mix any kind of color with white. So, mixing pink and blue will give you the color purple. When green and blue lights mix, the result is cyan. For that extra sparkle, you can add a touch of gold glitter powder to your paint mixture. ![]() All you need is a warm shade of yellow and a light, warm shade of brown paint. What Two Colors Make Gold? Making gold paint is actually very simple. White works, too, but be sure to choose a warmer shade so the contrast doesn’t appear too cool when paired with gold. The trick is to pair metallic gold with warm, deep-tone neutrals, such as charcoal or slate gray, chocolate brown, rich olive green, and dark tan or beige. Sometimes this is represented as a colour wheel: So some people say yellow and blue make green. You will find images like the one above, that show that red, yellow and blue are the primaries and that yellow and blue make green. It makes sense that blue and gold work so well together, since if you look at a color wheel blue and orange/yellow are complementary colors. It may be seen as an unconventional color combination, but blue and gold actually go together like peanut butter and jelly. ![]()
